Captain Michael G. Miglini

  • A licensed captain for over ten years
  • Master captain’s license with towing endorsement
  • Certified open water diver in the early 90’s
  • Professional dive master since 2000
  • Experienced recreational and technical diver with over 15 years experience in underwater construction/installation.
  • Running dive charters to offshore platforms in the Gulf since 1998 and taken over 1,000 divers for their first rig dive
  • An accomplished  spearfhisher winning several tournaments
  • A member of Port Aransas Boatmen Inc. (past president/secretary)
  • A member of Coastal Bend Guide’s Association
  • Gulf of Mexico Fishery management Council Data Collection Panel
  • Actively involved in conservation efforts and advocacy to maintain recreational access to fishing and diving

    Captain, Captain Steve Sims

  • Over 6 years captain experience
  • The extra “captain” is because he is also the Captain of the Rockport Volunteer Fire Dept.
  • An open-water certified diver since 1984
  • Loves to be out on the water and meeting new people
  • Starts off each day with a mega cup of coffee and a bear claw

    Danny Pritchard

  • NAUI certified diver in 2006
  • Master diver, Rescue diver, and Assistant Instructor certified in 2008
  • Graduated with Bachelors in Marine Biology from Texas A&M Corpus Christi
  • An outdoor enthusiast and active swimmer his entire life
  • Volunteers as a Diver at Texas State Aquarium, and volunteers with Turtle Patrol at the Padre Island National Seashore
  • 2nd season with Out to Sea Adventures, and is ready to go catch some dinner!

    Tom Peek

  • Over 15 years of dive experience
  • This will be Tom’s 4th season as a divemaster for Out to Sea Adventures
  • Has been a water fanatic his whole life
  • Water skied competitively at the university level
  • Done a number of distance open-water-ocean swims in Mexico
  • Loves to spearfish
  • “Let’s sack a big one!!”

  • Barnacle Scrapper & Pier mover from 1986-1990
  • 4 years a PADI Divemaster
  • 2 years as a PADI Instructor
  • Also a JR Barracuda Killer

    Keith Smith

  • Has been diving since 1998
  • NAUI and PADI certified divemaster for 6 years
  • Has been crew on the Sea Searcher II at the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary
  • Favorite places to dive: (other than where the ORION goes)
  • The “Blue Hole” in Belize
  • “Bookends” in Tobago
  • “Devil’s Throat” in Cozumel
  • “Oil can Leap” in Bonaire
  • Largest fish he has speared was a 50lbs. amberjack!

  • Nitrox Instructor and blender
  • PADI Tec45 certified
  • Enjoys spearfishing, Tech diving, and wreck diving
  • Out side of diving David enjoys duck hunting and wildlife photography
  • Greatest Interest in diving is spearing fish bigger than Jeb
