Spearfishing Spearfishing is allowed on any dive trip that is not designated as a non-spearfishing trip as long as you have a valid fishing license. We are professionals and well accomplished at the sport. We offer classes for coaching and guidance to those that are getting started or those that want to improve their spearfishing skills. Non-spearfishing trips are available by advanced reservation on exclusive charters. The offshore oil-rig platforms create the ideal habitat for a variety of fish species worth hunting for, including: Sheepshead Barracuda Snapper Amberjack Grouper Cobia Michael is an accomplished spearfisherman who has competed in and won several tournaments. He is both a scuba diver and free diver and has pulled up monster doing both.
